Announcing the winning name at SEMA last week, Chevy says Camaro fan Jason M. came up with it after being inspired by the car's green body color. No shit.

Based on the coupe and convertible variants with 2SS trim, the new Camaro SS wears an exclusive Emerald Green Metallic paint job, RS-specific front upper grille, a host of body-color parts, 21-inch Chrome Dusk alloys, and a black interior with Graphite Silver trim. Under the hood, the 6.2-liter V8 continues to deliver 426 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque when mated with the six-speed manual, and 400 hp and 410 lb-ft with the six-speed auto.
