Improved Aveo to Debut in 2011

Industry News

As the subcompact market heats up, Chevrolet will be launching an all-new version of its entry level Aveo model in 2011. Built on GM's Global Gamma II chassis, the new Aveo promises to be a significant improvement over its predecessor. Most likely, it will have the same base engine as the Chevrolet Cruze - a nicely powered and modern 1.4 liter four-cylinder capable of achieving 40 mpg.

Not stopping there, rumor also has it that Chevrolet will offer a turbo charged version Aveo with more than 140 horsepower. Final details are not available yet, but this new Aveo promises to be a significantly better car in every aspect.
