IMSA Dials Up New Mercedes-Benz S63 Coupe to 720 HP

German tuning house IMSA is so impressed with the work Mercedes-AMG has done with the S63 Coupe, it has only made modest changes to the high-performance two-door. Engine upgrades – including a remapped ECU, upgraded air cooler and sports air filters, x-cross muffler for the exhaust, and optimized intercooler radiator – sees output of the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 boosted to 720 horsepower and 797 lb-ft of torque. New 21-inch lightweight alloys have also been fitted, along with a lowering module for the air suspension system.
