We all want Infiniti to build a production version of its Q50 Eau Rouge Concept. Even Infiniti is keen to do it, but it must make business sense first. Instead of building a luxury version of the Nissan Leaf, Infiniti's recently installed boss Johan de Nysschen wanted something people would actually buy. Why not drop the GT-R's twin-turbo V6 into the rear-wheel-drive Q50 luxury sedan? Bingo! You've got yourself a formidable BMW M5 killer.

N/A

How didn't anyone think of that before?Well, we're glad the idea finally came. Infiniti has now reportedly assigned its staff at the Cranfield technical center in the UK with the task of making sure that twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 with 568 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque can be properly fitted into the sedan and still guarantee the desired driving dynamics. If all goes well, it'll take at least another 18 months until production could get underway. But that's ok. We're patient. Just be sure to build the damn thing.
