Infiniti has unveiled a fifth image of its upcoming JX crossover before its official concept debut at Pebble Beach later this month. Judging by the latest picture, the front shares similar styling with the current G and M sedans with the company's signature chrome bar grille coming with their logo front and center. Most recently, Infiniti has been changing to rear-wheel-drive, yet the Nissan front-wheel-drive D platform is expected to underpin the upcoming crossover.

This platform is also used for the Nissan Murano, Altima and Maxima. The JX will fit the market slot below the seven or eight-seat QX and the five-seat FX. Power will most likely come from Infiniti's 3.7-liter V6, but there's word a smaller engine could also be in the offering. A hybrid model will also eventually join the line-up. After the JX concept debuts at Pebble Beach, the production version will be unveiled in November at the LA Auto Show and is slated to go on sale sometime early in 2012.
