First shown in concept form at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the FX Sebastian Vettel version will soon be entering a limited production run of 200 units, which will be sold across Europe and the Middle East. The Vettel FX will have the same 414hp 5.0-liter V8 shown in the concept, making it the most powerful Infiniti to be sold in Europe. Standstill to 62mph has been estimated at 5.6 seconds and a top speed quoted of 186mph.

The special edition performance crossover is based on Infiniti's current flagship, the FX50S Premium, but comes with an additional 32hp, lower weight, longer gearing, increased downforce, and a lowered stiffer suspension. A collaboration between Sebastian Vettel and Infiniti's Chief Creative Officer Shiro Nakamura, the FX Sebastian Vettel version can be reserved now, with deliveries expected to start in early 2013.
