All that's left now is the production green light.
Infiniti has just released more details and photos of its new Q60 Concept, which is enjoying is world live debut here at Detroit. We brought you initial details last week, but today we have some live images providing a better feel of Infiniti's next-gen coupe. We particularly like the Q60's athletic profile, matte blacks and high-gloss black chromes, along with those 21-inch wheels. The concept is powered by the brand's next-generation twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with direct injection.
This is the very same engine found in the Q80 Inspiration concept shown at Paris last September. The interior, according to Infiniti, evokes a premium atmosphere with three-dimensional textures. The leather-wrapped instrument panel is hand-stitched. Also notable are carbon-fiber door accents and premium leathers with thick quilting for the buckets seats. Infiniti is clearly on to something with its bolder and sleeker design language. Let's just hope it all translates properly to the future production model.
