Concept will preview carmaker's upcoming flagship sedan.
Infiniti will preview its upcoming new flagship at the Paris Motor Show with the reveal of the Q80 Inspiration concept. Seen here in a couple of teaser images, the four-door fastback boasts a sleek and elegant design, which the Japanese carmaker describes as "ingeniously aggressive." The concept will "demonstrate to the premium world just how Infiniti aims to play its part" and provide some indication of what the automaker has in store for its flagship four-door coupe.
The Q80 is tipped to come with a V6 hybrid powertrain and take on the likes of the Porsche Panamera, Mercedes-Benz CLS and BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe. The hybrid will come with two engine options: a 3.0-liter direct-injection turbocharged engine coupled with an electric motor rated at 550 hp; and an upgraded 3.7-liter V6, which will join the electric motor in producing 700 hp. Both models will incorporate the GT-R's all-wheel-drive system, and start at just under $200,000.
