Time to play with the big boys of luxury.
What you’re looking at is the future of Infiniti, design wise. The Q80 Inspiration concept was first announced over a month ago, and just a few weeks back a teaser image was released. It showed a sleek silhouette with a fastback design. And just a couple of weeks ahead of its live debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, Infiniti has now revealed its latest creation with this single three-quarter rear-view image. Despite its four-door fastback design, the Q80 Inspiration will, as its name suggests, serve as inspiration to an eventual production sedan.
It will eventually compete head-on with the Mercedes S-Class, Audi A8, BMW 7 Series, as well as Cadillac’s upcoming flagship. According to Infiniti, the cabin is able to bring together four occupants in a so-called spacious "1+1+1+1" seating arrangement. Plenty of carbon fiber, aluminum and leather will surround them. We’ll be given full details along with additional photos as we get closer to Paris. For now, what do you think of this? Is Infiniti on the right track? Let us know in the comments and poll ahead.
