Insane Driver Crashes Modified Corvette At 150 MPH, Burns It To A Crisp

Luckily, they’re alive to complain about their charred Corvette.

Sometimes words don’t do a situation any justice. This particular situation started as a rolling drag race, or for most gearheads, casual Fridays. As the modified Corvettes accelerate they can be seen going over a bump on the freeway, lifting the cars momentarily. The car with the camera seems to lose control after the bump and buries its nose into the concrete barrier at 150 mph. Thirty seconds after the crash, the car catches on fire and burns to a crisp.

Luckily for the drivers, they installed a roll cage and racing seats with five-point harnesses after modifying the engine to 800 horsepower.
