A recent shootout between the two heaviest-hitting tuned GT-R's in the world resulted in a new 1-mile world speed record from one of them. We already brought you the video of the run itself, and now we have an inside look at the Switzer team and the 1,700-horsepower car, dubbed the Goliath. The car hit 250mph during the run, which is a positively insane speed for a 1-mile drag race. So if the horsepower number didn't already tell you, this is no ordinary GT-R.

But what is perhaps craziest about this car is that it isn't some stripped-out purpose-built record car. It has a full interior and is wearing street tires. Amazing.
