There is a lot to like about the various Lotus 7-inspired track-focused boutique cars out there. There are some which you love because of how faithfully they've stuck to the original after all of these years, and there are some which you love because of the job they've done evolving the design. Donkervoort fits into the second category, as well as a third one, the loveably weird-looking car category.
