Hollywood has inspired many motoring trends over the years, with scores of people replicating classic movie cars such as the DMC DeLorean from Back To The Future, or KITT, the Pontiac Trans Am from the hit show Knight Rider. Modern movies such as The Fast and the Furious have spawned a whole range of car fads, and even Hollywood superheroes have a loyal following in the car scene. Take Iron man, the rich dude in an indestructible suit of armor. We've seen the Hyundai Kona get its own Iron Man special edition, and numerous themed supercars, but this might just be the first Iron Man-themed EV, and the first themed Lucid Air, period.

Lucid-Forum member Ashoka8350 recently posted pictures of his brand new Lucid Air featuring a wild Iron Man-themed vinyl wrap. This custom job features a three-tone color wrap that consists of flowing sections that run from the front to the back of the car. The majority of the car's surface is covered in a deep maroon which covers the bottom half of the car, including the front fascia. On top of this sits a streak of gold that runs under the windows and flows over onto the hood and trunk lid. These colors are broken up by a silver roof top, mirrors, and highlights in the front and rear. The standard Lucid wheels have been customized with red highlights. The Iron Man theme is apparent, but we're also getting a Maybach vibe, which is arguably even cooler.

It seems that the interior has been left out of this dress-up party, but we think it's for the best. The fact that the owner went for an Iron Man theme on his Lucid Air isn't such a weird move; as with the Iron Man suit, the Lucid is a piece of cutting-edge technology, and sports a power output of up to 1,080 horsepower in the Dream Edition, and a 0-60-mph sprint time of only 2.5 seconds. It looks expensive, it looks fancy, and it looks unique. This is right up Tony Stark's alley and we could easily see the customized creation in his Malibu garage.
