A short time ago we did our best to help Mustang owners out by profiling all the Chevy drivers who did dumb stuff at Cars and Coffee meets. We should have waited a bit longer, though, because this video of a C7 Corvette Z06 smashing into a palm tree is the quintessential car meet fail. From the jump, as in when this Corvette starts smoking its tires at a stop sign, you know things are about to go downhill. And indeed they do in a matter of seconds, as 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels is sometimes too much for mere mortals to handle.

Although the damage to the front end looks gnarly CorvetteBlogger says that the driver escaped without any serious injuries. While there may be no physical injuries as a result of this crash, this dude will have to live with a bruised ego forever.
