Is It Too Much To Call The Jeep Grand Cherokee: “The Ultimate Luxury Offroader?”

SUV

There's certainly a case to be made for it.

The era of the ultra-luxurious SUV is upon us. The Bentley Bentayga is the self-proclaimed King of the SUVs, but we can’t imagine there will be many Bentayga buyers looking forward to, or even contemplating the thought of taking their prized asset offroading. The Jeep Grand Cherokee on the other hand, with its trio of four-wheel drive systems, is a car that owners will go out and have plenty of fun on the trails with.

As well as offering a choice of engines, including a 290-hp 3.6-liter V6, 5.7-liter Hemi and 6.4-liter unit (a Hellcat-powered Grand Cherokee is also on the horizon), the big SUV now comes equipped with a sharp interior that borders on the luxurious.

The Grand Cherokee also comes in a range of trims, and for our latest unboxing video we got our hands on a Limited 4x4 Anniversay Edition in a beautiful shade of dark green. Putting the Bentayga to one side, do you think the big Jeep can be considered the ultimate luxury offroader? Let us know in the comments.
