The Vantage’s last hurrah is a brute.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT12 is the automaker’s interpretation of the Vantage GT3 car for the street and the last model for the aging vehicle. To ensure that the Vantage gets a proper sendoff, the automaker packed the vehicle with a 5.9-liter V12 that produces 592 hp and 461 lb-ft of torque. With the GT12’s radical track goodies, the track-ready monster is able to get to 60 mph in a blistering 3.5 seconds. While the GT12’s stats are amazing, EVO took the vehicle to the circuit to see what it’s really made of.
The GT12 faces stiff competition from the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Ferrari 458 Speciale. Watch EVO’s video below to see if the GT12 is the track car everyone’s been waiting for.
