Last time Auto Express took the Honda Civic Type R to the track it was pitted against an Audi RS3 and BMW M3. Now Honda's hottest hatch is going up against one of its own. No, nothing in the automaker's current lineup is powerful enough to match the Type R's 306 horsepower and 167 mph top speed. Nothing, that is, on four wheels. Opposing the Type R is Honda's top street bike, the CBR1000RR. Both are driven by pros but to make things fair the Civic gets a 10-second head start.

So, who wins? Well unlike normal car-motorcycle races this one is actually close so we won't spoil who wins and by how much (or how little).
