If you are an automaker with a new truck to reveal, the Texas State Fair is the place to do it. Nissan has already announced it will reveal an updated Titan at this year's fair and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has hinted at some big reveals of its own. While the Texas State Fair is mostly an occasion for trucks, Alfa Romeo will display the Stelvio and Giulia, Chrysler will showoff the Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid, Dodge will showcase the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody, and the Fiat 124 Spider will also make an appearance. On the truck side, the Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator will be in attendance along with the entire Ram lineup.

"We are bringing our best lineup yet to the State Fair of Texas, Texas Auto Show. Every year, we work to build on our past success at the fair and this year fair attendees will thoroughly enjoy our displays and interactives," Steve Yandura, Director of the Southwest Business Center FCA US, said. "We are especially proud to bring the newest trucks to the FCA family, the all-new Jeep Gladiator and the all-new Ram Heavy Duty.

At the Jeep display, the company will show the new 2020 Wrangler EcoDiesel, which has been rumored for a reveal for the past several months. The diesel-powered Wrangler should use a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 260 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque and will likely be sold as an upgrade on top of the standard gas-engined model. Jeep will also show its new special edition Wrangler called the Willys Edition.

At the Ram display, there may be even more excitement. The brand promises "a few surprises," to be announced on Thursday, September 26, which FCA says will make truck shoppers' "must-see" list. This could be the rumored Hellcat-powered Ram 1500, which has been spotted testing for the past several months. The production model could look like the Ram TRX Concept and finally give the Ford F-150 Raptor some serious competition.
