Is The Lexus Hoverboard Being Released On August 5?

Please make this happen.

Over the past few months, Lexus has been teasing us with videos promoting the upcoming debut of its highly anticipated hoverboard project. The board is supposedly powered by magnetic levitation and in the previous installment of the teaser series we saw a glimpse of pro skater Ross McGouran explaining what it feels like to ride it. In this latest official video teaser, we are once again shown a few rapid short clips of the hoverboard in action as the date "August 5th" appears center screen in big white letters.

Clearly Lexus will have a full reveal of some sort next week, and we're anxious to find out just what its hoverboard is capable of. Check out the video and you be the judge whether or not this could be the real deal.
