AMGs have always been insanely powerful vehicles that straddle the murky line between capable grand tourers and precision supercars. With the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, drivers were able to get into a vehicle that could cover a lot of ground with ease but struggled when going around a circuit in racecar fashion. With the Mercedes-AMG GT S, the automaker set its sights on the Porsche 911, one of the best all-round vehicles ever engineered. So did Mercedes-AMG succeed in creating the perfect supercar?
