The moment Mini fans have been waiting for is here at long last. The 2016 Clubman has officially been unveiled and the finished vehicle is looking pretty spectacular. Mini fans who have been following the progress of the Clubman will be familiar with the previous generation. The newly redesigned Clubman now features four doors conventional doors (gone is the rear suicide door) with a center-split trunk hatch. It is now officially the largest Mini in the lineup, with dimensions similar to its BMW 2-Series Active Tourer platform mate.

It's noticeably larger than the previous generation on the inside and out. The body is longer and wider by several inches and the cabin and storage space are roomier. The interior is sporty, luxurious and modern. The 2016 Clubman is powered by a 1.5 liter TwinPower Turbo three cylinder engine that is capable of pumping out 136 horsepower. It can do 0-62 mph in 9.1 seconds and has a top speed of 127 mph. Both a six-speed manual and an eight-speed sports auto are offered. There is also an option for Clubman fans to opt for a larger 2.0 liter TwinPower Turbo four cylinder engine that produces 192 horsepower and can pull of an acceleration from 0-62mph in a nimble 7.1 seconds with a top speed of 141 mph.
