Is The New Porsche Boxster Spyder All The Sports Car You Need?

Review

This Alpine drive might just be enough to convince you.

Althoughthis car may have its haters – mostly Porsche purists and 911 fanboys – the newestiteration of the Boxster Spyder certainly has a lot to offer. With a370 hp version of Porsche's 3.8-liter straight-six, a 6-speed manualgearbox, high-performance brakes and 4.5-seconds from 0-60, it hasall the makings of what we'd expect from a classic sports car. Add some stylingthat Evo calls 'the most extreme of its generation' into the mix, and you mayjust have the perfect ride for a high-speed road trip through some beautifulAlpine scenery.
