They're two completely different types of cars, but we still want to see them race.
The Porsche Panamera Turbo S weighs nearly 4,400 lbs, while the Ariel Atom 3.5 Supercharged tips the scales at a scant 1,212 lbs. These two are not what you'd typically imagine coming together on the drag strip. And yet, that's exactly what the crew over at EVO has done. Why? Because it's intriguing. So how fast is each one? Well, the Atom goes from 0-60 mph in just 3.25 seconds, while the Panamera does it in 3.66 seconds.
Considering the size and weight of it, the Panamera did extremely well. But how does each do when going from 0-100 mph? And who wins on the drag strip? The winner likely won't surprise you, but the final straight-line performance times just might.
