Before revealing the 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible to the world, Chevrolet gave three students the chance to photograph the car for a contest. The New York-based college students were given one day to create four images, with the winner to receive $5,000. Corvette's Facebook fans were tasked with picking the winner and it was decided that Dan Wang's photos were the best. Having never shot a vehicle before, the advertising photography student portrayed the droptop Z06 on the road using special lighting techniques and background elements.

The Corvette Z06 photo challenge has been a great experience," Wang said. "I plan to use the prize money to help fund the pursuit of some of my personal projects, like documenting the Hardcore Happening, an annual Hot Rod Festival in upstate New York." Runners-up Mike Finkelstein and Nico Sforza also created a quarter of fine pictures. Check them out and let us know if you think the money went to the right guy.
