With the Ford Mustang's 50th birthday celebrations at the April New York Auto Show just around the corner, a heavily-rumored 50th Anniversary Edition is expected to debut in the coming weeks. But already, our spies have spotted this white Mustang undergoing testing and wearing Michigan plates in a McDonald's parking lot. Despite the un-exotic location, the car looks pretty hot with a new grille and new wheels which we haven't previously seen.

The rear quarter windows on this test car are still camouflaged, leading us to believe that they will pay tribute to the design language of the original Mustang, unveiled in 1964 at the New York Auto Show.
