Is This The Ultimate Aston Martin DB9?

James Bond

Only 150 of these bad boys will be made.

With one killer limited edition model, Aston Martin has brought attention to both its latest (and soon-to-be replaced) range-topping DB9, and the upcoming James Bond flick. Based on the DB9 GT, just 150 units of the special “Bond Edition” Aston will be made, each wearing a unique “Spectre Silver” paint job and discreet “007 Bond Edition” badging. The interior will sport a unique numbered sill plaque incorporating the 007 logo, while the rear seat divider comes with gun battle embroidery.

There’s also a special Bond Edition start-up screen on the infotainment system, which should make owners feel like a spy for about five seconds. Other unique touches include ten-spoke gloss-black 20-inch alloys, bright aluminum hood vents, grille and side strakes, carbon-fiber front splitter and rear diffuser and gray brake calipers. Power comes from the DB9 GT’s 6.0-liter V12 rated at 540 hp and 458 lb-ft of torque, with 0-62 mph coming in 4.5 seconds and top speed rated at 183 mph. Aston Martin wants £165,000 for the car, and for that they’ll also thrown in a 21-inch Globe-Trotter trolley case and an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m James Bond Limited Edition watch with a unique Aston strap.
