We thought the Mitsuoka Orochi was dead. Originally unveiled in 2006 as a limited-edition 400-unit run, it was meant to have been killed off in September with a five-unit 'Final Edition' run to end things gracefully. But, with the reveal of the Orochi Evangelion Edition, it appears the Toyota-powered Japanese oddball is not in the ground quite yet.

Created in honor of the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime TV series, the special edition Mitsuoka Orochi comes with a psychedelic paintjob, and is based on the Gold Premium spec model, so comes with sat-nav, backup camera and Alcantara trim. The 3.3-liter V6 and five-speed auto remains unchanged. Eleven models are slated for production at 16,000,000 Yen a pop (around $140k), and interested parties can submit their application for one at their local 7-Eleven. Seriously.
