Centenario

The Italians sure do like to celebrate their birthdays. That's why Lamborghini is throwing a massive gift shower for its customers to honor its creator Ferruccio Lamborghini's 100th birthday. The present will be the truly unreal and highly limited Lamborghini Centenario. Producing an ultra limited car and selling before release is a move that only Lamborghini can pull off. Sure, special edition cars are made by many manufactures, but not all of them can charge $2.38 million dollars for a car that no one has seen in the flesh.

What's more, it's just been announced that all 40 models that were up for grabs, 20 coupes and 20 roadsters, have found new homes. Despite Lamborghini's genius business model (nearly $100 million in Centenario revenue for its creator's 100th birthday, get it?), you can be sure that each and every lucky customer will take delivery with a huge smile. This is because the Centenario will likely feature a heavily upgraded 759 horsepower version of the 6.5-liter V12 that makes 690 ponies under the Aventador's hood. Like its weaker brother, the Centenario will have an all-wheel drive system and a full carbon-fiber tub to reach its estimated 215 mph top speed.

Special edition Lamborghinis like the Sesto Elemento and the Reventon have a knack for being wickedly cool, so we cant wait to see what the Centenario will look like when it is shown to the world at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
