This will be the Porsche 911 GT3's worst nightmare.
Consider this one to be the grand finale of the current Nissan GT-R. We recently reported the Japanese automaker will be revealing the all-new and redesigned GT-R in 2016. But before that happens, it would only be appropriate to give today's Godzilla a proper sendoff in the shape of the GT-R Nismo. While Nissan confirmed some time ago that the car was in development, today we're able to bring you the very first spy shots of the car testing in Europe.
Despite the camouflage, it's impossible to mistake this development mule for anything else other than a GT-R, but there are a few clear signs this one is something very special and more badass than normal. We can see there's a new front splitter and a restyled rear bumper along with a few other cosmetic tweaks that are all a part of the new Nismo style body kit. There's also a set of Nismo-specific alloy wheels. Weight will also be trimmed thanks to some carbon-fiber components, and the twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 will be given a power boost that'll be around 570 horsepower. 0-62 mph will happen in about two seconds. The GT-R Nismo will premiere at the Tokyo Motor Show in November.
