This is the end of the beached whale.
Earlier this month at Geneva, the last Bugatti Veyron had its debut, appropriately named "La Finale." It was the 450th Veyron produced and it marks the end of an era that began back in 2005. Like all other Veyrons, power comes from that now legendary 8.0-liter W12 engine with 1,200 hp and 1,106 lb-ft of torque. Top speed is clocked at 254 mph and 0-62 mph happens in only 2.6 seconds. And, Bugatti has gone on record to say that this is absolutely, positively, without question the LAST Veyron.
Painted in a two-tone theme with red carbon fiber trim, even the headrests are embroidered with the words "La Finale." In case you’re still not convinced this is the end, Bugatti has just released this video chronicling the last Veyron’s build at the production facility in Molsheim, France.
