The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor isn't exactly a trophy truck or Moab-ready rock crawler but is incredibly capable for something that rolled off a factory line. On dirt roads and rugged terrain is where the Raptor is most likely to be found. Don't be shocked if you see it every so often at the local drag strip, though. This video from Hennessey Performance's YouTube channel shows the 2017 Raptor's skills through a straight line. They're pretty damn impressive, with times that would make some sports cars and sports sedans envious.

The Raptor clocks a 0-60 mph time of 5.3 seconds and finishes the quarter mile in 14.1 seconds at a top speed of 96 mph.

For a truck as big as the Raptor those numbers are outstanding. Given that the 2017 is powered by a twin-turbo V6 they should be easy to top as well once Hennessey Performance gets under the hood. Losing a V8 engine is never easy, but we think folks will get over it once they see the quarter miles tuned EcoBoost Raptors are running. Now if only Hennessey could do something about that new engine noise...
