It Was Bound to Happen: Leno Buys a McLaren P1

Supercar

After he test drove one, of course.

It’s a well-known fact that Jay Leno is a longtime fan of McLaren. Not so much of a Ferrari guy, Leno already has an F1 and a MP4-12C under the roof of his famous garage. So it shouldn’t be in the least bit shocking that the all-new P1 hybrid supercar will soon be joining these two. And now Leno has just became the first person outside of McLaren to test drive the P1. In fact, his time behind the wheel just took place at the Top Gear test track in Surrey.

The guy also recently test drove the upcoming Porsche 918 Spyder. Yeah, he's got a good life. But back to the P1. Needless to say, Leno was impressed enough to place an order for one shortly after his asphalt run.
