Better known for its stylish car customizations, such as the furniture-inspired BMW i3 and i8, and Adidas themed Alfa Romeo 4C – Garage Italia Customs has just unveiled its newest creation based on the Ducati Diavel superbike. Built in collaboration with the Milanese custom car builder and Italia Independent, the Garage Italia Diavel, finished in blue and silver, comes coated in carbon fiber, Alutex woven aluminum and Alcantara.

The Diavel's bulky exhaust has been replaced with something a lot smaller, a silver slip-on with visible welds for added drama with the remainder of the piping hidden behind some blue thermal shrouding. The solo seat comes wrapped in blue Alacantara with contrast stitching, while the trellis frame, rims, calipers, mirror cases and forks all wear a matching shade of blue. The Ducati Diavel comes powered by a 1.2-liter Testastretta L-twin engine, producing 162 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 96 lb-ft of torque at 8,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed constant-mesh gearbox and slipper clutch. Top speed is rated at 169 mph.

Given that Garage Italia Customs is a design house, it's unlikely that any work has been done to the engine or mechanics of the bike. Which is probably a good thing as the Diavel is an animal in stock form.
