Jaguar Celebrates At Goodwood

This year marks the 50th birthday of the E-Type, the car that made Jaguar cool, and Jaguar is celebrating the birthday at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, along with all of the pomp and tire-screeching you would expect for such an occasion. They have brought one of the two E-Types to have made the famous overnight run from Coventry to Geneva in 1961 for the car's unveiling. It is the "77 RW" registration car, in (what else) green.

A whole array of classic Jags join the historic E-Type, as well as the futuristic XK120 concept car that so impressed crowds at the Paris Motor Show last year. Jaguar also brought their new XKR-S, which will be showing off its awesome power by tearing up the Goodwood hill. The main event, the Moving Motor Show, doesn't kick off until June 30th, so you have time to get tickets.
