It's hard to believe that the Jaguar E-Type has been around for 50 years. The long and low racer has spawned many different and popular models, such as the XKR, 1970 E-Type roadster and a personal favorite, the 1961 E-Type convertible aka the Austin Powers 'Shaguar.' To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic British sports car, Turkish designer Emre Husmen has created a terrific design of a new E-Type concept. The rendering features the E-Type's classic long nose and rounded waist.

It is a bit boxier than the original, but the line scheme still fits and its color and blacked-out wheels give the old classic a modern look. Check out the pics below and let us know what you think about the modern E-Type concept and what features should or shouldn't be featured in a new Jaguar.
