That's gotta hurt.
Ask any car guy or girl: there's no greater feeling than taking delivery of a brand new car, especially if that car is a Jaguar F-Type. In a video doing the rounds on social media, we get to experience the glee, and eventual dread of a car delivery gone horribly, horribly wrong. The video is poetic in its simplicity and comedic gold for anyone who loves seeing expensive metal getting crushed. Sensitive viewer beware: there are two innocent victims involved in the video, and we genuinely feel for the owners of the Chevrolet Silverado and Nissan GT-R involved in this massacre.
We've all seen the horrific images of transport trucks tipped to their sides with exotic machinery strewn across the road, but this video hits close to home. Literally. The transport truck is seen parked in a residential area and we can assume that it's dropping the Jag off at the owner's place of residence. The Jag is perched on the second level of the truck. As soon as the video starts, we see the F-Type simply rolling off the trailer, as if it hadn't been secured at all. It then hits the road with its rear and, followed by the front end. The front bumper of the Jag is clearly damaged by the impact (not to mention all the delicate suspension bits underneath).
But that's not the worst part: as the Jaguar comes flying off the truck, it backs up into a Chevrolet Silverado Pickup truck which then rolls back into a clean-looking Nissan GT-R. The Silverado's front bumper gets annihilated, but it's not too clear what the damage on the Nissan looks like. Either way, the truck driver is going to have a great time explaining how a simple delivery job ended up with three expensive repair bills.
