2021 marks the 60th anniversary of one of the most exquisite sports cars ever made: the Jaguar E-Type. To celebrate this milestone, Jaguar Classic is building six pairs of restored cars forming the E-Type 60 Collection. Continuing the celebrations, Jaguar has lifted the wraps off the new limited F-Type Heritage 60 Edition crafted by Jaguar's SV Bespoke personalization division. Based on the Jaguar F-Type R, the Heritage 60 Edition is limited to just 60 examples worldwide to celebrate the E-Type's diamond anniversary.

As part of the special commemorative specification, each car is finished in an original solid Sherwood Green E-Type color that hasn't been offered on a new Jaguar since the 1960s. Available in coupe or convertible body styles, the F-Type Heritage 60 Edition rides on unique diamond-turned gloss black 20-inch forged alloy wheels and features retro-inspired gloss black and chrome exterior accents and black brake calipers.

Inside, the bespoke interior is trimmed in dual-tone Caraway and Ebony Windsor leather. Other interior embellishments include a unique aluminum console finisher inspired by the original E-Type's rear-view mirror casing, an E-Type 60th anniversary logo embossed on the seat headrests, and E-type 60 badging shared with the limited-edition E-type 60 Collection cars, along with commemorative treadplates, an SV Bespoke commissioning plaque, and Caraway-edged floor mats.

"Celebrating 60 years of the iconic Jaguar E-type is the perfect moment to create our first-ever SV Bespoke limited edition - and the rarest F-Type, with just 60 cars available globally," said Mark Turner, Commercial Director at Jaguar SV Bespoke.

"We've worked closely with Jaguar Design to develop a theme for the F-Type Heritage 60 Edition that pays homage to the E-type in a contemporary way. It's testament to Jaguar's sports car design lineage that the 1960s Sherwood Green color looks as though it was designed for today's F-Type."

Being based on the F-Type R, the Heritage 60 Edition is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 producing 575 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.5 seconds and reach a limited top speed of 186 mph. US pricing will be announced at a later date but the limited Heritage 60 Edition will inevitably command a substantial premium over the regular F-Type R, which carries a price tag of $103,200.
