We knew this was going to be happening sooner or later. Apparently it's already underway. What you're looking at comes directly from the Nurburgring, courtesy of our spy photographers. This is a Jaguar F-Type Roadster that's really a test mule for the upcoming RS or SVR model. What the test mule is missing, however, is a more aggressive front bumper with larger air intakes. Do note that large rear spoiler, though. Also expect the production-spec car to have a new diffuser and big carbon ceramic brakes.

Power, of course, will come from the 5.0-liter V8, only this time it'll be tuned to produce somewhere between 580 and 600 horsepower. A precise launch date remains unknown, but we wouldn't be surprised to see Jaguar unveil this at Frankfurt next September, the epicenter of Germany's finest display of its latest new cars.
