Jaguar Gears Up for 2013 Mille Miglia

Classic Cars

Fangio's own C-Type to join two more as well as a trio of XK120s and a quintet of new F-Types on the Italian revival rally.

A classic car rally wouldn’t be a classic car rally without some Jaguars. Fortunately, the stoic British marque has announced an enticing line-up for this year’s Mille Miglia. Included in the Jaguar Heritage Racing fleet for the Italian revival rally this year will be three C-Types, three XK120s and five new F-Types. But the drivers which Jaguar has lined up are arguably just as impressive: the cars will be driven by such notables as former Le Mans winner Andy Wallace and six-time Olympic cycling champion Sir Chris Hoy.

Joining them will be Jaguar founder Sir Williams Lyons’ grandson Michael Quinn, 20th Century Fox chairman Jim Gianopulos and fashion designer Salvatore Ferragamo Jr, to name just a few. Jaguar has also released this retrospective video clip highlighting its illustrious past at the Mille Miglia.
