Jaguar Had the Balls to Put the Project 7 into Production

One of the best decisions Jaguar has ever made.

Just over a year ago, Jaguar revealed the Project 7 concept car. Based off the new F-Type, the Project 7 paid homage to the UK brand’s glorious motorsport past. However, the Project 7 was never intended to be a racing car. It started off as a few sketches from Jaguar’s chief designer; he was interested in incorporating various design elements of the iconic D-Type to the F-Type. However, the media and the public’s embrace of the concept was more than enough to convince Jaguar to build it.

And just a year later, the F-Type Project 7 is here. Although just 250 examples are planned, the Jaguar opted to make the production-spec Project 7 its most powerful road car to date. XCAR has created this video looking at how this car is a proper celebration of everything Jaguar.
