When you're Design Director for an automaker like Jaguar, life is pretty darn good. Ian Callum has most certainly earned everything he's worked so hard for. The man has been behind every single line and sexy curve of all Jags since the early 2000s. And now he's decided to reward himself with something quite special for his personal use. This one-off Jaguar Mark 2 was a joint project between Callum and Classic Motor Cars Limited. Callum designed and the latter built it.

Over the course of 18 months, the Mark 2 was given a thorough resto-mod, and is now powered by a 4.3-liter XK engine paired to a five-speed manual gearbox.

It has a unique independent rear suspension and upgraded front brakes. Callum stated that "The stance of the Mark 2 is already excellent, but I wished to make it even better. The car's form is now 30mm lower and sits on 17" split rim spoke wheels. The bumpers are now part of the overall form. It is a fine balance of extracting and adding." The interior has been totally redone as well, having been fitted with a multimedia station, an entertainment system with a 16cm flip-out touchscreen, and component loudspeakers in specially-designed housings. There's also a special shade of red leather used for the seating. Check out the video ahead as Callum explains his creation.
