Jaguar has announced a one-off F-Type Coupe created by JLR's new Special Vehicle Operations division. The car will be used as a support vehicle for Team Sky riders during the penultimate stage of the Tour de France. Based on the F-Type R Coupe, power comes from a 542-hp 5.0-liter supercharged V8, with design mods including a roof rack with space for two spare bikes and a blue-on-blue Team Sky livery.

The F-Type has also been fitted with a separate electric supply in the boot of the car, powering radios, amplifiers, microphones, televisions and horns in order for team officials in the car to communicate with race directors and Tour officials.
