Not long after the XE Sport 300 set a unique lap record, Jaguar has announced another new special edition model joining the XE family. Based on the already well-equipped R-Sport trim, the XE Landmark Edition features an assortment of sporty additions. Enhancing the exterior is a new Sport front bumper, body-colored side sills and boot lid spoiler, as well as side window surrounds, door mirror caps, grille surround and side vents finished in Gloss Black.

Other additions include special Landmark badging on the side vents to distinguish the special edition model, along with unique 18-inch alloy wheels that set the model apart. Also unique to the XE Landmark edition is a choice of three exclusive colors: Yulong White, Firenze Red and Santorini Black. Inside, the cabin has been carried over from the ravishing R-Sport model, featuring the same luxurious leather upholstery along with unique Landmark-branded treadplates. Popular XE features now come as standard for the Landmark Edition, including satellite navigation, xenon headlights and front and rear parking sensors.

Jaguar Land Rover's advanced Touch Pro infotainment system with 10-inch central touchscreen has also carried over. Sadly, the sportier styling hasn't been accompanied with any performance upgrades. Depending on the market, the XE Landmark Edition will be available with a 2.0-liter gas turbo unit with 247 horsepower and a four-cylinder diesel with 180 hp. Jaguar promises both units will deliver "an exceptional combination of performance and refinement." More details about the XE Landmark Edition will be revealed later this year closer to the special edition model's sale date.
