Though the company may have earned a stodgy image in the last couple of decades, there's a grand tradition to high-performance Jaguars. You don't have to go back to the 50s to find it, either. Think of the XJ220, the XJR-15 and the XKR-S. Packing the same engine as the latter into a four-door sedan, the new XFR-S certainly upholds that tradition. Its 5.0-liter supercharged V8 spoons out 550 hpand 502 lb-ft of torque for a 4.4-second 0-60 time, and its suspension and brakes have been tuned accordingly.

The numbers are all well and fine, but we really want to see is the XFR-S out on the road. A twisting mountain pass should do the trick, and that's just what Jaguar has served up. Thankfully, it hasn't drowned out the deliciously burbling exhaust note with the soundtrack, leaving us with a video clip you'll want to watch and enjoy.
