Jaguar XJ Receiving First Major Update in Four Years

The big cat is undergoing a mid-cycle refresh.

This may look like northern Sweden, but these spy shots of the facelifted XJ sedan were in fact taken near Jaguar’s headquarters in the UK. The carmaker hasn’t messed with the flagship sedan for four years now, so a mid-cycle update is due. There’s going to be a new front bumper with restyled intakes, a smaller grille, and revised taillights. A lack of room in the rear will continue to frustrate buyers until the next-gen model arrives a few years down the line. The updated Jaguar XJ will hit showrooms later this year.
