Bond. James Bond. At 50.
James Bond has been defining classic and cool for 50 years, and to celebrate the franchise's half-century the National Motor Museum in England is hosting a gala. The NMM is partnering with Beaulieu and EON Productions along with MGM (owners of the James Bond copyrights) to put on the largest exhibition ever of James Bond cars. 50 cars will be on display at the NMM, including the 2002 Jaguar XKR from Die Another Day (weapons included) and the classic 1937 Phantom lll Rolls-Royce from Goldfinger.
"Following the success of the first Bond cars exhibition staged at Beaulieu in 2001, we are delighted to be working with EON again on this new display, bringing together the world's largest collection of Bond vehicles," said Beaulieu's Commercial Director, Stephen Munn. The National Motor Museum is located in Brockenhurst, England. The James Bond Exhibition will run the length of 2012, from January to December 2012. They say some things get better with age. In James Bond's case, it's safe to say that old adage rings true. It's hard to think that after 50 years of 007 bad guys would still try and cause trouble. Watch out Syria.
