After a quick teaser at the end of last year, the new one-off SCG 003 supercar car nut James Glickenhaus is having built has come more into focus with the reveal of its carbon-fiber chassis. Under his Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) team, the American investor is working on his third car (hence 003), following the P4/5 Pininfarina and the P4/5 Competizione. Built from scratch, the SCG 003 is set to weigh just 1,600 pounds with power coming from a 500-hp 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6.

While the final shape is still unfinished, you can be sure it will be beautifully executed with Pininfarina's Special Projects chief Paolo Garella overseeing the design.

As with his previous one-offs, a racing variant of the SCG003 will be built. Glieckenhaus plans to compete in the 2015 Nurburgring 24 Hours and if enough models are built to receive homologation (a limited production run is under consideration), the 003 could also run in Le Mans 24 Hours next year.
