Back in July, Lamborghini launched the limited-edition Aventador SVJ Xago exclusively for customers who use the automaker's virtual Ad Personam Studio. Now, Lamborghini has opened a new retail venue in Tokyo dubbed 'The Lounge Tokyo' featuring a permanent Ad Personam studio. This is the second venue of its kind after New York, allowing customers to fully personalize their new Lamborghini supercar's exterior and interior color and trim. Lamborghini celebrated the launch of this new studio in style with the unveiling of a new one-off art car based on the Aventador S. Lamborghini collaborated with fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto to design the car's eye-catching livery.

Inspired by Yamamoto's Paris clothes collection, the one-off Aventador S is finished in different shades of red with contrasting white and black accents.

This striking color scheme is also applied to the interior, with text embroidered on the seats and applied to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. The custom Aventador S was built by Lamborghini Centro Stile and approved by Lamborghini's Head of Design, Mitja Borkert, who met Yohji Yamamoto at Paris Fashion Week in January 2020.

"It has been exciting to have the chance to work with Yohji Yamamoto, the world-renowned fashion icon, who innately understood our significant Lamborghini design DNA. Our collaboration inspired this outstanding artwork and design for the Aventador S, which was unveiled today, and celebrates Italian craftsmanship connecting with Japanese culture," said Mitja Borkert.

Yohji Yamamoto added: "With their inimitable design, Lamborghini super sports cars are more instantly recognizable than any other car manufacturer - just one glance is enough. I am delighted to see the realization of this collaboration, highlighting the uniqueness, the timelessness, and the abundant passion, which are characteristic of both our brands."

Mechanically, this eye-catching Aventador S is identical to the standard model, meaning that power is provided by a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 that produces 730 horsepower and 507 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed gearbox. This setup enables the Aventador S to sprint from 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and top out at 217 mph.
