When it comes to luxury sport sedans, we typically automatically think of something German, such as the BMW 3 Series or the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. While both are terrific cars, a different personality is sometimes called for, albeit still plenty of fun to drive and RWD. Fortunately, Japanese automakers have managed to really up their game in recent years in an effort to steal buyers away from those German brands. And two of the latest offerings from the Rising Sun are the Lexus IS350 F-Sport and the Infiniti Z50S.

Now, neither one of these two is a real looker, as Motor Trend's Jonny Lieberman very clearly points out when describing the Lexus. But still, the big question is how do they drive? Are they on par with those German benchmarks? Check out the video to find out.
