Restomods are very tricky things. There’s a fine line between improving upon the original design and ruining it, and the exact location of the line shifts quite a bit depending on who you’re talking to. The job gets even more difficult when you’re talking about on old Woodie, since woodworking generally requires a whole different set of skills than most other automotive work. But here, Jay Leno takes a look at a couple of Woodie Restomods that really had some time put into them.
The modifications are all reversible, and there’s a pretty solid case to classify them as improvements, but we’re sure that not everyone would agree.
